On our this particular trip, we explored the state of Veracruz with a private tour of the ruins of El Tahin and the fabulous museum in Xalapa, the capital city. We stayed at the renowned Posada Coatepec, situated in the lush valley surrounding Xalapa. Here we visited a coffee plantation, shopped in the charming nearby villages (known for their leather goods), enjoyed fabulous moles and homemade liqueurs. |

Our trip ended up in Veracruz where we situated ourselves near the Malecon. We danced the Danzon, drank coffee at the famous "Portales" and bought everything from fun & kitschy shell art to semi-precious stone necklaces.
